Ember & Oak was born from a singular obsession: coaxing the most honest, soulful flavors from Tennessee's extraordinary land through the ancient alchemy of live fire. We partner exclusively with small family farms within 150 miles of Nashville — their seasons dictate our menu, their harvests inspire our craft.


Our kitchen burns white oak, hickory, and cherry wood sourced from Middle Tennessee woodlands. No gas. No shortcuts. Just flame, time, and intention — a philosophy that carries through every course of our celebrated tasting menu and every cocktail crafted at our bar.

We welcome smart casual through formal attire. Our guests take pride in the occasion, and we encourage you to dress for an evening you'll want to remember. Business casual is perfectly appropriate; black tie is always welcome.
We recommend reserving at least two to three weeks in advance for weekend evenings, particularly during the spring and fall seasons. Weekday tables often have shorter lead times. Private dining enquiries should be submitted at least four to six weeks ahead.
Absolutely. Our team is experienced in adapting our tasting menu for a wide range of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and specific allergens. Please include all requirements in your reservation notes and we will ensure your evening is perfect.
Yes. Our sommelier has curated a wine pairing program to complement each course of the tasting menu, drawing from our cellar of over 300 selections including small-producer natural wines, classic Old World bottles, and American regional highlights. Non-alcoholic pairings are also available.
Ember & Oak is designed as an intimate adult dining experience. We warmly welcome guests aged 12 and above. For families with younger children, we suggest our Sunday afternoon Bar Menu, which offers a more relaxed setting and a shorter format menu.
We ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or changes to standard reservations. Private dining bookings require 7 days notice. For same-day cancellations without notice, a per-guest cancellation fee may apply. We understand that life is unpredictable — please reach out as early as possible and we will always do our best to accommodate.
